LIDIA KOPANIA is an extraordinary singer. Because of her warm, 4-octave voice, she already has been compared with Celine Dion and Barbara Streisand.
Before starting her solo career she joined Hamburg-based band KIND OF BLUE (Eurovision Song Contest 2000 / „Bitter Blue“) with which she recorded „BEATING THE MORNING RUSH“ (Label: FUEGO) in 2004 – an album about which the critics said: "It’s the best pop from Germany".
In 2006, LIDIA won the TOP TRENDY FESTIVAL with her song „SLEEP“ which was also on her first solo record released the same year: „INTUICJA“ (EMI).
In 2007 this album was nominated for Superjedynka – Debut Of The Year by TVP.
After playing a lot of concerts she got back to the studio soon and recorded her 2nd album: „PRZED SWITEM“ (EMI / 2008).
On 14th Feb. 2009 LIDIA performed her new single „I DON’T WANNA LEAVE“ at the Polish preselection of the EUROVISION SONG CONTEST.
